Onze Champagnes van AR Lenoble zijn onlangs in de Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France uitstekend beoordeeld en het familiebedrijf kreeg daarnaast maar liefst 2 van de 3 sterren.
Een bijzondere prestatie en een kroon op het jarenlange werk van broer en zus Antoine en Anne Malassagne. Tussen alle grote mega-investeringsfondsen en multinationals die Champagnemerken in eigendom hebben, is dit familiebedrijf nog altijd onafhankelijk en weet het zich staande te houden tussen de grote merken. Een topprestatie!
Redelijke prijs vs topkwaliteit
De prijzen van de Champagnes van AR Lenoble zijn meer dan redelijk en staan in een schril contrast met de grote namen, die kwalitatief veelal niet eens in de buurt komen van AR Lenoble. We beloven je: eenmaal geproefd/gedronken, ben je een liefhebber en ambassadeur voor het leven!

The estate :
“Brother and sister Antoine and Anne Malassagne have skillfully elevated this little house to the highest standards of quality. The style of the wines is geared more towards a ‘grower champagne’ than a ‘house’. Maturing in wood for certain vintages and low dosage everywhere produces vibrant and complex wines, and their origins in the vineyards are very recognisable. The range is comprehensive and very consistent. The word MAG followed by a number, which now appears on all of the non-vintage bottles, provides information on the base year of the cuvée, to which are added reserve wines kept in magnums under cork. This is a very important detail, and this additional effort gives the wines a touch of additional complexity. These are wines that thrive particularly well at the table.”
The wines:
“The tasting confirms the level of this cellar and the homogeneity of the wines. The increasingly refined Rosé takes on an additional dimension with a year of evolution. The Blanc de Blancs 2012 retains this energy while displaying the patina of time. Gentilhomme 2013 is a nice bottle for this cold vintage, the extra year relaxes the aromas and flavours. Les Aventures, from this plot of Chouilly, made from the 2008 and 2009 vintages, boasts a definition close to a good manzanilla pasada: incredible complexity on rancid butter, spices and roasted dried fruit. The Brut Nature cuvée “mag 17” remains a serious wine in its conception, but the taste harmony and some bitterness on the finish appear.”
